Minister of Internal Affairs, Bajram Rexhepi said today that at the border between Kosovo and Serbia will not be placed the state symbols of any country, but only those of the European Union.
This comes as part of the signed agreement on the Integrated Border Management between the two countries, under the EU supervision, Rexhepi said in an interview with RTK.
“The protocol envisaged only the EU symbols at the border. However at those classic areas each can on its territory place own symbols. But at the common object as it is conceived in the future there will be only symbols of the EU, ” Rexhepi said.
Minister Rexhepi said that one of the main conditions for visa liberalization is Integrated Border Management. While talking about the implementation of this agreement in the northern Kosovo, he said it should not be seen as a failure of Kosovo institutions. / rtklive /
