In support of the protest are civil society activists

Representatives of civil society organisations, analysts, journalists, publicists, professors, professionals from various fields and private entrepreneurs, all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, concerned by the political crisis prevailing for months in Kosovo and motivated to contribute towards finding a solution, they have unanimously decided to support the protest called by the opposition United on February 17, 2016 date.

According to a press release, said that in this situation, is a democratic protest that should be used by citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.

“Given the political crisis in the country, the election of the President in these circumstances would not contribute to a solution. Consequently, we ask the Prime Minister and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to pave the way for new elections in the country, to avoid any further tension in the political situation, and to restore the lost confidence in the democratic institutions of the state ” emphasizes papers.

“We call on all citizens to participate peacefully and mass protest February 17,” further noted.
