The COVID-19 pandemic has also affected northern Kosovo.
Two people, one from North Mitrovica and the other from Leposavic, have tested positive at tests sent to the “Torllak” Institute in Serbia.
This is confirmed by the epidemiologist dr. Aleksandar Antonijevic, a member of the North Mitrovica Crisis Staff, writes Zeri.
“The results of the four samples we expected to come in writing from the ‘Torllak’ Institute have reached us and they have been positive for two people,” Andonijevic said.
According to the Crisis Staff in northern Mitrovica, all those affected with COVID-19 will be taken to Nis Hospital in Serbia for further treatment.
