The incumbent Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, and the Speaker of the Assembly, Vjosa Osmani, paid tribute to the statue of academic Fehmi Agani on the 21st anniversary of the assassination.

The incumbent prime minister has called his assassination a criminal execution by Serbia.

“Fehmi Agani was a delicate intellectual and a close professor, a lover of knowledge, learning and study, a peaceful and progressive man. His formation was largely humanistic and social. He saw his political engagement more imposed by time and circumstances than character passion or career propensity. “His assassination was a criminal execution of Serbia and a great loss for Kosovo,” he said.

He said that justice should be done for Fehmi Agani to come to the country.

“On May 29, it will be a year since the Code of Criminal Procedure was amended, which enables trial and sentencing in absentia. We need to commit, and we will work to uncover the truth and bring justice to it, “he said.
