PDK MP Blerta Deliu-Kodra has reacted harshly to the rapporteur for Kosovo, Viola Von Cramon, who is conducting a controversial campaign in the international arena for Kosovo.
Deliu-Kodra said that the German MEP is continuing to damage the image of Kosovo in the international arena with false facts and arguments.
She said that Cramon thinks that justice for the victims of the war in Kosovo is decided by the Special Court which only judges the KLA, thus forgetting the victims of the war in Kosovo, women raped in Kosovo, massacres of Serbs and many other crimes.
Full post by Deliu:
The Rapporteur for Kosovo in the European Parliament, Viola von Cramon, has already proved that she does not protect the interest of Kosovo under any circumstances. On the contrary, its tendency is to report completely biased on any issue about Kosovo and the unprincipled protection of some persons within Kosovo.
In essence, she acts contrary to her duty as a reporter: she does not present the set of facts and does not reflect objective developments in Kosovo, but does the work of a political commentator with baseless arguments and ad-hoc blows. By her public behavior, she has damaged the image of Kosovo in the international arena in general and has distorted our political reality in the reports served by the MEPs.
Recall that in some cases she has criticized the US for helping to “overthrow the democratic government”, which automatic logic means the establishment of another undemocratic government.
How can a rapporteur who publicly proclaims Kosovo as a country that does not tolerate a democratic government represent the best interest for Kosovo in the European Parliament?
Understandable: this is the very essence of its mission. Unfortunately, a handful of local politicians have chosen to support Mr. Viola von Cramon to strengthen their position to the detriment of Kosovo’s interests.
This biased enthusiasm for a certain political party is also noticed in its post on the Special Court, which considers it a cornerstone of the rule of law that will hold the perpetrators of war crimes in Kosovo accountable. So, according to her, justice for war victims in Kosovo is decided by the Special Court. Let us recall, with the Court that judges only the KLA: this, therefore, shows that its tendency is not to report fairly on Kosovo but to tarnish its image.
We have supported this Court for reasons already known and for denying the fabrication of the century on the “Fictitious Yellow House”, invented by the Serbian intelligence services. But, we have not supported any of its political roles to configure the political scene in Kosovo, as it is being understood and attempted to be exploited by certain political parties and their supporters. Moreover, we have never supported the Special Court as a cornerstone of bringing justice to the victims of the war in Kosovo, as Ms. Cramon and others like her think.
For Ms. Cramon, the 20,000 raped Albanian women are not victims of the war in Kosovo who need justice. For Ms. Cramon, over 13,000 Albanian civilian casualties are not victims of the Kosovo war who need justice. For Ms. Cramon, the expulsion of some 1 million Albanians during the war is not an injustice. For Ms. Cramon, the cornerstone of justice in Kosovo is the trial of the KLA “criminal war”.
The cornerstone of justice in Kosovo has been the firing of the first rifle for freedom!
No one can rewrite this story. Even less a supposedly credible reporting like Mr. Viola von Cramon !.
