The Prime Minister of the country, Avdullah Hoti, has tested positive for the Covid-19 virus. The same showed that there were no symptoms, except for a mild cough.
Today, Hoti according to his agenda visited the municipality of Dragash where he met with farmers and visited the factory “MEKA”.
Accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Driton Selmanaj, Ministers Arban Abrashi, Vesel Krasniqi and Besian Mustafa, the Mayor of Dragash, Shaban Shabani, MPs of the area, as well as institutional representatives of central and local level, Prime Minister Hoti initially inspected the works on Zhur- Dragash.
Prime Minister Hoti said that this road is of national importance, a two-lot project that goes close to 7 million euros. “There have been many delays, some technical and some procedural, but I believe that the Minister is taking care to increase the dynamics and conclude this project in an optimal time,” said Prime Minister Hoti, emphasizing that the road is of special importance, because it connects This whole region is also for tourism and livestock issues, but also for connections with Albania and Northern Macedonia.
Afterwards, Prime Minister Hoti continued his visit to the meat processing factory “MEKA”, where he was received by the owner Burim Piraj, who informed the Prime Minister about the successes and challenges that this company has.
Prime Minister Hoti congratulated the owner Piraj for “sound business and with the best standards of quality and work ethic”.
Also, Prime Minister Hoti said that opportunities will be seen to help this business with the Economic Recovery Package, which will facilitate obtaining loans and financing for businesses.
The Prime Minister paid his next visit to Dragash / Dragaash on the “Qendra” farm, where he was received by the owner Masar Piraj and the “Invers one” textile factory by the owner Ezxhan Emini, to whom he promised that the Government would stay close. supporting all businesses in their activity.
At the end of his stay in Dragash / Dragaash, Prime Minister Hoti held a meeting with farmers in the Gora area in the village of Krushevo, who asked the Prime Minister for support for investments in this area, emphasizing that mountain tourism and infrastructure are essential for the region.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Hoti said that the government will support the residents of this area in the development of mountain tourism through subsidies and grants, as well as the improvement of general infrastructure.
