Belgrade is seeking to meet four requirements to continue the dialogue in Brussels, Serbian media write.
In an article published by “Novosti”, it is said that these are not new demands or blackmails, but demands arising from the signed agreements which, according to Belgrade, Pristina has prevented or refuses to fulfill for years.
The first requirement is to form an association of Serb-majority municipalities, the second is for Kosovo not to send heavily armed police forces to the north without KFOR permission and the approval of the Serbian association, and the third is to form two Serbian companies. for the distribution of electricity to Serbs in the north and four, so that the trial panels for cases in the north are in a ratio of 2 to 1, in favor of Serbs.
Four days since the Kosovo government imposed the reciprocity measure on license plates from Serbia, local Serbs have blocked roads leading to the Jarinje and Brnjak border crossings in northern Kosovo.
Special units of the Kosovo Police have been deployed in these two locations, while the two countries exchanged charges and counter-charges after these developments.
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vuiqi., During the last two days has reiterated that they will not return to dialogue without withdrawing all Kosovo Police troops from the North. Vucic said yesterday that there was an offer from the EU to meet in Brussels, but that he refused.
On the other hand, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti yesterday called the right decision reciprocity for license plates, calling on Serbs in the north to unblock the roads and enable free movement.
