The Council for the Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms has reacted after the statements of the head of European diplomacy for the withdrawal of special units from the north of Kosovo, saying that Josep Borrell and Miroslav Lajçak are behaving as Vuiqiiq emissaries rather than facilitators of EU.
After the recent events in the north when the Government of Kosovo established reciprocity for license plates of vehicles entering from Serbia and when the criminal structures that have kept the situation tense since the end of the war, Borelli and Lajçak, instead of providing neutrality, they are trying to impose arbitrariness. Moreover, Borrelli ultimately ordered the withdrawal of the Kosovo Special Unit and the removal of the barricades, as if these were also placed by the Government of Kosovo, it is said in the reaction.
Borrelli and Lajcak are facilitators for Serbia and co-operatives for Kosovo in talks to normalize relations between the two countries. After the recent events in the North of Kosovo when the Government of Kosovo established reciprocity for license plates of vehicles entering from Serbia and when the criminal structures that have kept the situation tense since the end of the war, Borelli and Lajçak, instead of offering neutrality they are try to impose arbitrariness. Moreover, Borrelli ultimately ordered the withdrawal of the Special Unit of the Kosovo Police and the removal of the barricades, as if these were also placed by the Government of Kosovo. Serbian extremists and criminals, pushed and supported 100% by Serbia, in addition to blocking the roads to the border crossings in Jarinje and Brnjak, have destroyed state property by setting fire to vehicle registration centers in Zubin Potok and Zvecan. Active part of the roadblocks, supporting the illegal protests were deputies of the Serbian List, led by Goran Rakic who, in the most unscrupulous way, misinformed the public about the alleged violence against Serb protesters by the Kosovo Special Police.
CDHRF estimates that the obligation of the Kosovo Police has been to remove obstacles from the road to create conditions for freedom of movement for all. If the situation returns to zero and if no measures are taken against roadblocks and those who committed crimes against Kosovo institutions as well as those who actively supported them and who are paid from the taxes of the citizens of Kosovo, then what? it made sense to send Kosovo Special Units. In fact, it turns out that the Kosovo Special Police are playing the role of collectors of Prishtina Parking. Kosovo, almost without a Minister of Foreign Affairs, without diplomatic representation in many countries of the world, with an opposition that instead of immediately ranking behind the Government of Kosovo and Prime Minister Kurti and not behave so opportunistically, for an issue that is very right, such as reciprocity, as the sovereign right of any independent state, has fallen into the position of a beggar, demanding that: “international friends put pressure on Serbia to remove the barricades that are in the territory of Kosovo… !!!!! Instead of having a general mobilization, not to attack others but to protect our rights, from the disruption and the rot for power, we extremely discredited the Kosovo Police! The CDHRF thinks that the situation in the north is currently very favorable to Serbia, while the statement that: criminal – Serbian terrorists that criminal acts will not be punished, even with disciplinary measures. Borrell and Lajcak are not impartial, but behave more like emissaries of Vucic, the war criminal, than EU facilitators. The CDHRF has previously stated that the tax should either be abolished by both countries or applied equally. CDHRF is for this tax to be completely abolished by both countries, while in Kosovo only RKS license plates should be valid. In all this organized chaos, it is fortunate that there are no casualties in people.
