Representatives of Kosovo and Serbia met in Brussels on Wednesday.

After the meeting held in the presence of the Special Envoy of the European Union, Miroslav Lajcak, the head of the Kosovo delegation and Deputy Minister, Besnik Bislimi spoke.

He said that a draft document for resolving the issue of license plates, with the mediation of the EU, has been finalized.

In a statement for “Bota sot”, Professor Sulejman Mehazi, commented on the statement of the head of the Kosovo delegation, Besnik Bislimi on the negotiations held today with Serbia.

“The Deputy Minister of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, during today’s talks with the Serbian side in Brussels, says that it has been agreed on any three-point final draft with Serbia, Bislimi expresses ambiguity and doubts about agreements with Serbia, this is noticed during his Facebook statement. which says: “We hope that the Serbian delegation will be convinced of the text of the agreement without any further changes and at the moment of agreement, we can say that we have a valid agreement.” Bislimn’s three political key words: “We hope”, “Serbia will obey” and “We can say we have a valid agreement” show that they have not been agreed and that Serbia will not respect any of today’s drafts in Brussels., he said for “Bota sot”.

Further, Mehazi states that Bislimi has not made it clear whether the Serbian police and military forces will leave the border with Kosovo.

“Bislim at any of the three points today that he said is not clear, on the side of the Kosovo border shows that units of special police forces of Kosovo will be replaced by KFOR forces, while on the other side of the Serbian border does not show that will police and military forces leave along with Serbian tanks and fighter jets. And that the “final drafts” he mentions to Bislim will be formal and futile for Milosevic’s heir, Aleksandar Vucic. “For ten years,” political drafts “of dialogue have been made with Serbia, but nothing against these” final drafts “with Serbia”, concluded Mehazi for “Bota sot”.
