The Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati stated today that the corporate tax collection plan has been exceeded.
Murati said that two months before the end of the year, the amount of 110 million euros planned by the Government has been reached.
“Although there are still more than two months until the end of the year, the corporate income tax, collected so far, has already reached the level that was planned to be reached by the end of the year. Hoti Government planning for 2021: 98 million euros. Kurti Government planning for 2021, with revised budget: 110 million euros. The figure of 110 million euros, planned for the whole year has already been reached, when there are more than two months left until the end of the year “, wrote Murati.
According to him, this confirms what the World Bank report said that Kosovo’s economy is growing rapidly.
“So, with the performance shown so far, we have exceeded the expectations we had at the beginning of the mandate. “This further confirms the news we had today from the World Bank, that the country’s economy is marking the fastest economic growth ever recorded”, writes Murati.
