Analyst Rron Gjinovci says that not allowing the Serbian referendum to be held in the Republic of Kosovo shows how Serbia no longer has power over Kosovo, as it once did.

According to him, this referendum makes Serbia in several dimensions.

“Serbia’s unconstitutional referendum is being held today. Unconstitutional because in the Constitution of Serbia, Kosovo and its people are part of Serbia, and the referendum is not being held for a part of its territory and its claimed people. “This automatically makes this referendum unconstitutional”, writes Gjinovci, among others.

His full reaction:

The opposition in Kosovo initially supported the Government of Kosovo, hoping that the Government would step down and move on. When they saw that he did not have one to withdraw, they started with all kinds of absurdities. I would not go to the session, there would be no need for the Assembly to deal with these issues (with the preservation of sovereignty 😀), you would have won political points, they are telling the Prime Minister.

Serbia’s unconstitutional referendum is being held today. Unconstitutional because in the Constitution of Serbia, Kosovo and its people are part of Serbia, and the referendum is not being held for a part of its territory and its claimed people. This automatically makes this referendum unconstitutional. The fact that the referendum is not taken to the Constitutional Court of Serbia, shows how caught the state is there and how there is no opposition. At the international level, it proves once again that Serbia no longer has power over Kosovo as it once did. This referendum makes Serbia time in several dimensions, all because of Kosovo
