The “Rama” government has implemented the agreement signed by the joint meeting held last November in Elbasan, in the presence of Prime Ministers Edi Rama and Albin Kurti.
The Government approved today the draft law of the agreement between the Republic of Albania and that of Kosovo on the implementation of customs facilities and control of entry and exit of goods.
The Minister of Finance and Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj announced that, “the cooperation agreement that we approved today between the governments of Albania and Kosovo aims to implement mutual facilities in customs procedures and control of entry and exit of goods.”
According to her, this is an agreement signed at the joint meeting between the two governments in November last year, while today this agreement goes to Parliament in order to facilitate trade between our two countries by recognizing all licenses located at customs points, unifying controls of only one country, reducing control time.
Ibrahimaj said that, “the agreement envisages the opening of the Kosovo customs point, in the port of Durrës and the facilities that it will bring. This agreement also recognizes several protocols that will pave the way for the opening of other customs points of Kosovo in the Republic of Albania “. / Noa
