Kosovo has been facing an energy crisis in recent months. In addition to warnings of rising electricity prices, the blocks of the Kosovo Energy Corporation are causing trouble every day, although recently this company received a 20 million euro subsidy from the Government of Kosovo.
The state had to pay 248 thousand euros or 12 thousand euros per day, a foreign expert to return to operation unit B2 of the power plant “Kosova B”.
Only a few days after the return to function of this unit, KEK announced that from January 29 to February 27, unit A3 of the power plant “Kosovo A” will be out of operation due to regular servicing.
But, all these troubles have not influenced the director of KEK, Nagip Kraniqi, appointed by Albin Kurti, to spoil himself.
He bought a phone with citizens’ money worth 1 thousand euros.
Even, when asked about the phone, Nagip Krasniqi, said that the debate on the price of the phone that the company bought for him is not relevant.
“For me it is irrelevant whether the phone will be 500 or 1 thousand euros, taking into account that it must be somewhere else magnifying glass or there must be savings in transparency. I believe that the telephone debate is not relevant for an institution like KEK. It is a bit of a misuse of focus “, declared Krasniqi in Kallxo Përnime.
